Over the years CANROM has developed many custom solar solutions to meet a wide variety of requirements. CANROM designs, manufactures and installs PV systems of various sizes, structures, and capabilties, for special environments. Please see below for some examples of our past customized solutions.

MCGILL UNIVERSITY SOLAR RACING CAR This car is powered by CANROM's semi-flexible PV modules, made with Teflon copolymers. CANROM will design and cut single or polycrystalline silicon solar cells to specification and can produce modules up to a maximum size of 50 X 42 inches.

COMMERCIAL-SCALE OUTDOOR LIGHTING The streetlight shown here is part of a lighting system designed for a U.S. educational institution's campus. Maintenance free and guaranteed, these systems will continue to provide a non-polluting, inexpensive source of light for many years.

INTEGRATED BUILDING SYSTEMS In 1996, Canrom built the Hugh Macmillan canopy, which is the first truly building integrated photovoltaic system in Canda. Canrom has plans to gain unparalleled expertise in building integrated photovoltaics. This photovoltaic installation is located in Haiti.
